Internships
Internships with ECTA provide an excellent way to learn about some of the most striking issues facing the global community today. Whether interning at home or abroad, your assignments will be tailored to enhance your learning experience while also leaving a lasting impact on the communities in which ECTA works. At the end of your service, it is ECTA’s hope that you will walk away with newfound skills which will help you to carry on the mission of seeing integrated communal health become a reality throughout the world.
International Interns:
International internships with ECTA offer a hands-on experience in developing and maintaining sustainable, community-driven solutions in some of the most impoverished sections of the world. Interns serving abroad will participate in a wide range of activities, all focused upon developing locally-enabled solutions to communal problems with the goal of eventual turnover of operations to the indigenous population. Additionally, ECTA staff will spend time mentoring and developing interns by way of special assignments, cultural education, and skill-building exercises all designed with the intent of enabling and empowering the next generation of global philanthropists. These internships require a minimum one semester commitment, and are available up to a full academic year.

- Ability to work and live in rustic settings, often without electricity or running water

By participating in the day to day running of a non-profit organization based on grassroots efforts and minimal overhead, domestic interns will be able to learn from a successful organizational model engaged in low-cost, high-impact programming.
