Q: How does ECTA fundraise?

A: Individual donors like yourself make what we do possible.  We do not, and never will, take a cut out of any donations intended for project members.

 

Q: What does ECTA do?

A: At ECTA we:

 

Empower - ECTA provides essential framework, resources and services for its members, free of charge, so that they can focus their efforts on where they matter most - the projects.

 

Educate - ECTA staff members provide subject matter expertise to project members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to ensure the sustainability of their efforts.

 

Encourage - At ECTA, we know the people behind the projects, and they know us.  We work to nurture a community of collaboration and shared experience.

 

We bring social entrepreneurs together so that they can carry out ECTA's most basic principle - "Do Good".

 

Q: Does ECTA focus its efforts on specific causes?

A: ECTA is all about empowering individuals to positively impact their communities which, to us, is among the most worthy of causes.  As such, we do not focus on any traditional cause (EG: Healthcare, Poverty, Education, etc.), but rather the affects of all of these efforts combined.

 

Q: How can I help ECTA?

Q: I'd like to become a Project Member, how do I go about doing so?

A: Please visit our Become a Project Member page to find out how to apply.

 

Q: How can I make sure that my money goes to the right project/ECTA operations?

A: To donate to a specific project online, click on the 'Projects' tab on the overhead navigation bar, select your chosen project profile, and then click on the 'Donate' tab found on the right side navigation bar of the project profile.  Alternatively you may click on the 'Donate' tab on the overhead navigation bar, and then write a memo within your donation noting which project you wish to donate to.
